Kasaragod April 2: Kerala’s northern-most district’s headquarter Kasaragod City again witnessed an attack on a Hindu Temple.
Tension prevailed at Kasaragod after dead buffalo skull was thrown at the premises of historic Mallikarjun Temple, heart of the city. Miscreants thrown buffalo skull which was decaying with a bad odour.
Major Hindu organisations including Rashtriya Swayamseavk Sangh has condemned the attack.
Speaking to Vishwa Samvada Karnataka, Jilla Sanghachalak of RSS Sri Dinesh Kasaragod said, “Such incidents are increasing these days, attempts to disturb social harmony and to create enemity between communities are continuously growing in Kasaragod. This indeed a serious matter of concern”
On February 11th also similar incident took place, Tension prevailed in Meepuguri of Kasaragod following defilement of Meepuguri Durgaparameshwari temple by unidentified persons. District administration had clamped prohibitory orders in the Kasaragod Taluk limits for a week.
